Therapy for Residents of the Mission District in San Francisco, CA

Welcome!

Unravel the knots. Begin to understand yourself in a deeper way.

If you live in the Mission district and have been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of who you truly are or what you want or need, you’re not alone. Many people I work with in the Mission and across San Francisco share a similar experience: trying to make changes—ending relationships, switching jobs, or searching for quick relief—only to feel more confused, disconnected, or back where they started. You may feel like you’ve tried everything, but something still isn’t clicking. If that resonates, it doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. It often means something deeper is asking for your attention.

You Are Not Alone

Navigating these experiences can feel isolating. You may find yourself wondering why things don’t seem to work, or feeling like you should have figured this out by now. I understand how frustrating and discouraging that can be—and how difficult it is to open up, especially if vulnerability hasn’t always felt safe. You don’t have to go through this alone.

Understanding, Not Quick Fixes

Therapy offers a different kind of space—one where we slow things down instead of rushing toward solutions. In our work together, we’ll begin to make sense of patterns that may feel confusing or repetitive. Rather than chasing quick fixes, we’ll focus on understanding what lies beneath the surface—because clarity, confidence, and meaningful change tend to emerge from there.

I specialize in LGBTQ+ affirming therapy, therapy for men, therapy for young adults, relationship counseling, and psychodynamic therapy. My work explores your emotional history, unmet needs, and the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself—so long-standing struggles can begin to shift.

A Different Way of Experiencing Yourself

As self-understanding grows, many people begin to notice a shift. The pressure to be perfect or to meet others’ expectations softens. Shame and self-doubt begin to loosen. You may find yourself feeling more grounded, more confident, and more connected—in your relationships and in your sense of self.
